A Mother and Father's Testimony: Amber and Adrian Ramos, Ivan's Parents

Posted: February 20, 2018

When Ivan was 4 years old, we began to look for an activity that would "keep him busy" and "give him something to do", but what we found was so much more.

After looking into a few different options and sports, we decided to enroll Ivan in the Tiny Tigers program. We hoped for Ivan to be able to focus his energy into something positive and be able to gain focus and discipline. Being an only child, we also had high hopes that he would gain social interaction skills and build relationships and friendships with students who shared similar interests.

Our expectations have been surpassed in every possible way. He's learned the value of teamwork, respect and self-discipline through his lessons in Taekwondo. Another key takeaway from the program is the self-defense and Anti-Bullying portion that Master Dillow incorporates. Being aware and knowledgeable has helped Ivan deal with difficult situations at school.

The leadership group at Champions Martial Arts has played a big role in Ivan’s overall development. Their knowledge, patience (because we still have rough days) and love of Taekwondo shows every day. The staff truly cares about Ivan and his progress and always has his best interest in mind.  We are truly grateful for the entire staff at Champions Martial Arts, and the friendships we have built. We look forward to Ivan getting his Black Belt under Master Dillow and are forever grateful for the life lessons Ivan has learned through Taekwondo.
